Medical Imaging Technology Academy | June 24-30, 2018
Discover how CAT Scan, MRI, and other imaging technologies are used in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease and trauma. Hear from faculty and residents, collaborate on small group exercises and case studies, and take field trips to the medical school and a radiology office to learn first-hand about this exciting and dynamic field. Pre-Engineering Summer Academy | July 8-14 or July 15-21, 2018
Learn about aerospace, biochemical, biomedical, chemical, civil, computer, electrical, environmental, forensic, industrial, material science, mechanical and systems engineering through an integrated program of lectures, demonstrations, hands-on projects, tours, and field trips. Leadership Academy | July 22-28, 2018
Assess your own leadership style through a 360-degree assessment and carefully calibrated experiential exercises. Learn about the practices and ethics of leaders in a wide range of spheres through integrated lectures, interviews, engaging in-class activities, and a field trip to the United Nations Headquarters in NYC. Final student presentations address individual leadership development and applications. View schedule.
TV Production Academy | July 29-August 4, 2018
Industry professionals teach you the fundamentals of video and television production: lighting, audio, video, editing, and special effects. Use state-of-the-art equipment at the Rutgers iTV Studio to complete a short group project, take a field trip to visit a major television studio, and earn a certificate that will prepare you for internships and employment in the industry. Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math (STEAM) Academy | August 5-11, 2018
Integrate design into science, technology, engineering, and math challenges during the STEAM Academy. Work with a cross-disciplinary team of Rutgers faculty members to plan and prototype using 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, sewing machines, and other Rutgers Makerspace tools. View schedule.
